Discover the craft of book conservation and the technology behind digitizing library materials in the first of two interactive sessions. Participants will rotate between a live book restoration with Nick Costantino, library project specialist for collections management, and a demonstration of digitization led by Liz Lewis, digital publications assistant. This unique format offers an up-close look at how a selection of rare and fragile items from the library's special collections is cared for and transformed into digital resources, highlighting how these efforts expand access to library materials for research and engagement.

The second session takes place on March 24 at 2 pm. These events are offered as part of March is for Members, a month-long celebration of you, our members!
